Roman Onager Catapult Kit - Suitable for ages 14 and up
The Onager was a powerful siege engine used by the Roman Army during the late Roman Empire in battle and to lay siege to city walls and fortifications in their territories around the Mediterranean Sea and beyond. This new Onager kit re-creates the way in which the torsion-powered siege engines worked, and can launch a small clay ball (included) and other soft projectiles over 15 feet!
Like all Pathfinders’ kits, it is an interesting and challenging build, with pegged parts for strength- and it really works!. And it can be made for left handed people – just by putting the release mechanism on the left side! Finally – the lefties get some recognition!
