Sky Surfer Kit

Nourish the budding aeronautical engineers & test pilots in your home as you build this paper plane launcher and watch your folded designs "break the surly bonds of earth!" Great family fun both indoors and out, this kit will launch planes into high flight from 10 to 50 feet (& more, especially if you launch off a three story high balcony)!

Paper and card stock are included, along with some clay for weight & balance and a detailed booklet about plane design, aerodynamic theories, and the history of paper airplanes. The Sky Surfer will launch your homemade aeroplanes made of paper, cardboard, foam stock, or balsa wood and features the ability to alter the launching power with rubber band changes. And while you can hand throw a plane farther, the beauty of the Sky Surfer is that it launches in a reliably repeatable way that accurately reflects how your design and trim adjustments effect flight, so games of flight competition can be judged on best design (versus strongest arm).
