Veritas Bench Rule
Shaped much like a classic school ruler, this relatively narrow rule is lightweight and easy to handle, making it an ideal choice for precise drawing and design tasks. The fine laser-etched markings stand out clearly against the matte black anodized finish, with one edge that reads right to left and the other left to right. All scales are graduated in 1/32" increments.
Cut from a solid aluminum extrusion. The 6" and 12" rules are 1" wide, the 18" and 24" rules are 1-1/4" wide. To avoid parallax errors, the edges are tapered and lie within 0.01" of the stock surface, supported by small raised feet set back from each edge; this clearance ensures markings will not be smudged by the rule.
