October 18-21, 2017

This class is a great way to learn the basic principles of green woodworking and chair technology as you construct your own 3-Legged Stool. Seated at the shave horse, you'll use drawknives and spokeshaves to shape and carve parts out of white pine and oak. You'll learn how to taper tenons for spindles and ream mortises in the seat bottom. You'll discover the methods used for the critical layout, and marking and drilling operations needed for creating accurate compound angle mortises.

There was quite a bit of interest so I wrote up a set of plans and called them Builder Boards.
